Dr Yawo O. Kondo is a cyber security professional with 8 years of experience in progressive knowledge in Information Technology (I.T.), Electronic Health Records (EHR), Cloud services, Enterprise Systems Architecture, cybersecurity, InfoSec, Data Management, System Design, Risk Assessments, Contingency Plans, Security Test & Evaluation reports, and Vulnerability Assessment reports. Advanced knowledge in frameworks such as FISMA, RMF, DoD RMF, FedRAMP, DIACAP, CSF, HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001 etc…
Yawo is also a security researcher and instructional systems specialist. He is passionate about making learning exciting and interactive, which he has developed while working in the industry. He assists students in obtaining cybersecurity certifications and provides examples of gained experience to help prepare students for their daily duties as a SOC analyst, I.T. Security analyst, or cloud security analyst.
He leads a highly trained professional based in the U.S. and Africa. Yawo’s roles include complying with technology-related regulations, preparing tests and reports regarding business resiliency, liaises and managing third-party service providers’ organization-wide.
Dr Kondo’s commitment also extends to corporate citizenship, having served as a member of governing boards, leadership boards, boards of directors, and advisory boards on I.T. and security for many years. He is a Communication Officer of one of the most prominent African Diaspora groups in the USA (DTUSA). He supports the organization and project team in developing and implementing innovative strategic communications and outreach programs.
Dr Yawo Obimpe Kondo is Director Institutions, Departments & Centers, USA, Europe and Canada Bureau at SE-INTERNATIONAL. He provides technical support to local NGOs, private companies, and government institutions, helping them become more effective in their day-to-day operations, coaching them in proposal writing, business development, fundraising, program implementation, monitoring and evaluation, budget development, events planning, and more. He also supports initiatives designed to proactively engage program members, partners, and sponsors, leverage experience with leading communications initiatives.
Dr Kondo conducted a doctoral dissertation on Cyberattacks Strategy for Nonprofit Organizations. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies with double concentrations in international business management and global strategy studies at the University of Nebraska; double master’s degree in healthcare informatics at the University of Maryland, Strategies, and Leadership in Information technology from Walden University and many I.T. professional certifications.
